Attention, book lovers and gardening enthusiasts!

We're thrilled to introduce our brand-new Little Free Library (LFL), and it's got a special twist!

Our garden-themed library is not only a haven for bookworms but also a nod to our green thumbs. Designed with a unique trowel handle, it invites you to "dig in" to a world of stories.

Whether you're seeking a peaceful read under the shade of a tree or looking for gardening tips to cultivate your own green oasis, this little library is your go-to spot.

So come on down, grab a book, and let's grow together!

How it works:

A Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. They function on the honor system. You do not need to share a book in order to take one. If you take a book or two from a little library, try to bring some to share, when you can.

As a registered little library, the Operations Manager (Christopher) is the primary caretaker, called a Little Free Library steward. The steward is usually the person who was instrumental in getting the library. The steward takes care of basic maintenance like keeping the library clean and inviting, but it is up to everyone who uses the library to keep it stocked with good books.

A few simple requests/rules:

  • The library DOES NOT accept the following (they will be removed & discarded):

    • Text or school books of any kind

    • Bibles or books religious teaching books

    • Magazines or pamphlets

    • Advertising or solicitation of any kind

    • Please keep donations relevant to the general public

  • The library is available 24/7 but if you are donating during business hours, please drop you books in the office so I can stamp them (this is done to avoid theft and library empties). I check daily as well.

  • We ARE NOT looking for boxes of book donations, so please take those elsewhere or wait for our rummage sale in February. We would like to stockpile a small amount but do not have the room in the center for tons of books.
